Two color photographic print albums, approximately 384 images.
Collection consists of two albums containing photographic prints documenting the Dallas City Council inauguration events of June 11, 2001. Although the activities have varied over many decades, they often include a pre-ceremony breakfast, the ceremony itself, the mayor's State of the City address, a post-inauguration reception, and a ceremonial first council meeting. The album includes photographic documentation of all of the mentioned activities, as well as candid shots of councilmembers and their guests. Paparazzi Studio, Dallas, was the photographer. The inaugural events were held at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and at Dallas City Hall.
